While sake is a well-known classic pairing partner for Japanese cuisine, now that you are in England, why not explore the perfect pairing of local English wine with your Japanese dishes?

🍇 Discover the charm of English wine 🍇

With its long history and rich cultural background, England has established a central position in the global wine trade. Although previously unknown as a wine producing country, England is gaining recognition worldwide. English sparkling wines, in particular, are highly regarded and often surpass Champagne in blind tastings due to their superior quality.

During the event we will showcase a unique pairing experience featuring locally produced English sparkling and still wines with a selection of Japanese appetizers.

Experience how the delicate flavours of Japanese cuisine harmonize with the rich umami of English wines. Enjoy pairings with both sparkling and still wines and gain new ideas that you can recreate at home.

Participants are welcome to stay for dinner after the event, to enjoy So Restaurant food at a discounted
